“If a speaker begins or ends to share their screen, you may have to re-pin the ASL video each time. During a screen share, make sure that “side-by-side” mode is selected under “view options” prior to pinning the interpreter. To adjust the size of the interpreter’s video compared to the shared screen, mouse over to reveal the line dividing the two screens, and then click and drag that line to the left or right depending on your needs.”

Is extended summer learning considered compensatory education?

01:49:31
Im a stay at home parent that's struggling with teaching 3 kids. The difficult comes in not being familiar with the curriculum being taught. What can the school district enact to improve my ability to educate my kids. Also can the district hire stay st home parents as paras to work from home with their kids on s temp basis,??

01:51:50
Tyrone: If your kids have hab hours through DDD, you can get paid to do hab till Sept 2021.

01:52:24
Thank you!

01:54:32
Tyrone: If any of your chidlren have an IEP, Parent Training is a related service that may be an option for you to get the training to help your children make progress towards their goals.

01:55:08
Amelia - per DDD parents cannot be paid providers during online learning hours. Parents can only bill as the HAB or attendant care provider during non school time and you are required to use a third party provider for online learning support

01:55:38
Parent Training is a related service? We have to find to training?

01:56:57
I have to run to an LCAP meeting for my district, thank you so much.

02:05:04
At-home remote learning has revealed a lot of areas where IEP goals are not being addressed or addressed in a way where the student is learning anything. And this does not seem to be just because of remote learning. What is the best way to address these problems when reevaluation of IEP and IEP meetings aren't leading to positive results?

02:05:52
Thank you! I didn't know funding was sent to the school districts and I didn't know about comp ed before this.
